Paper Abstract:
|
This study examined the issues regarding early childhood teachers perspectives on young childrens technology use and play in Taiwan. The research questions of the study include? (1) what do early childhood teachers think about young childrens technology use? and (2) what are the connections between young childrens technology use and play? Therefore, 15 kindergarten and preschool teachers were interviewed in the study to help the researchers understand the teachers perspectives. The results revealed that most teachers in this study support play, but some of them do not completely agree with young childrens use of technology. Some conclusions related to early childhood teachers perspectives on young childrens technology use, and connections between young childrens technology and play are also proposed. |
